Job well done to the students in the Lawrence High School National Honor Society who raised almost $2000 to donate to the Lazarus House. They presented the check in a ceremony on campus last week.

Shoutout to the Spanish Department - 200 students earned the Seal of Biliteracy this year. Thirteen of those students achieved the highest distinction and were selected to represent LHS at a special ceremony at the University of Massachusetts Amherst alongside their parents. Congratulations to all of our students for this incredible accomplishment!

Students signed in ASL to start the 2026 Special Olympics Unified Games in Lawrence today. All schools around the District took part in the games at this annual event. Stay tuned for more photos soon.

Wetherbee First Grade Students in Mrs. Twomey's class had an extra special reading time this week when Senator Payano and two School Committee members, Ms. Bertolino and Mr Suriel all read to them. The group also engaged with an 8th grade History class. Wetherbee School thanks our visitors for taking the time to come to our school!
