Michael Armano
School Committee Member
Mike Armano is an appointed member of the Lawrence School Committee and a public safety professional with extensive municipal experience. A proud Lawrence resident, he has served the City as a firefighter, fire investigator, fire and life safety educator, public health director, and inspectional services director. Mike holds a Juris Doctor, a Master of Public Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. As a parent of three children, including two who have progressed through the public school system, he is committed to advancing student outcomes, expanding educational opportunity, and ensuring every student is prepared to succeed. He values working with youth through mentorship, coaching, and community-based programs.
